Having trouble downloading?

If you're having trouble downloading a PlanGuru upgrade or update, wait a short while and try again. It's possible that our download server is busy or the internet connection is temporarily not working.

If you still can't download, here are some suggestions:

• Disable your anti-virus software.
• Disable any popup blockers that you may have enabled.
• Firewall software can prevent access to downloads. For more information about firewalls and downloads, go to the PlanGuru Help Desk and look for Download articles in the Installation section of the Knowledge Base.
• If you are using Windows Explorer, make sure that you have checked "Use Passive FTP" in the Internet Options menu selection, Advanced tab. Make sure you enable this option regardless of the software you are using to download.
• If you are able to get to the window that asks whether you want to 'Open' or 'Save' the downloaded file, make sure that you choose to save the file to your desktop and install it from there.

Still having trouble?

Web browsers are great, but they are intended primarily to browse web pages. If you're using your web browser to download files, you may want to consider a download manager. The typical download manager at a minimum provides means to recover from errors without losing the work already completed, and can optionally split the file to be downloaded into 2 or more segments, which can be most helpful if you're downloading a large file.

Free Download Manager is an easy-to-use, free download accelerator and manager. You may want to give it a try if you're experiencing difficulty downloading your PlanGuru software.
